Fun with Dr. Sketchy and Body of Work Planning

Tonight is another Dr. Sketchy drawing session in Kansas City. We will be drawing Levon Mystere.  Drawing skills rusty or non-existent?  All levels of artists are welcome at the loft.
Here is what Dr. Sketchy's Facebook page says about tonight's model:

    • The saying goes "If March comes in like a lion, it will leave like a lamb." Our lovely model Levon Mystere is about to test that theory. As sultry felines go this lady is fierce. Come enjoy this evening of drawing, drinks, dancing and delicious bite. Tasty treats provided by Heather Hands and strong songs spinning by DJ Volente.
      Tonight: 6-10

Update on May Arts Center Show: Body of Work.
It's been a lot of fun planning our big figure show at the Arts Center scheduled for May.  Body of Work includes eight area artists who regularly study from live models. The show reflects how each artist interprets the figure.

Here is a list of artists in the show: Karen Matheis, Louis Copt, Lori Norwood, Amber Hansen, Nicholas Ward, TJ Tangpuz, Stephen Johnson, and Ted Johnson.

We are in the process of putting together the show catalog and our artists' statements.
