The Lawrence Sketchbook Project

This summer, artists in Lawrence will keep sketchbooks for the Lawrence Sketchbook Project.  This local project, based on the sketchbook project that is traveling throughout the US, will feature Lawrence artists' sketchbooks.  Although in the beginning stages, the plan is that these sketchbooks will be displayed in the fall at the Lawrence Public Library, accessible to viewers like a periodical.   We will keep you updated on this project as it progresses.

One more item today from the world of design.  We saw and loved these chair designs made from reclaimed timbers of a New York City water tower, made of old growth California redwood.
